The Union wait-staff at Prime-Cut Steakhouse of Montague has scheduled a walk-out protest for Saturday night …In unison , they refuse to show up for work citing differing conflicts in social-life scheduling …

  Tom’s passive approach to restaurant management has left him HELP less ..,He now scrambles for four  (50/250’s ) to shadow disappointed customers on Saturday night ..

    He has lowered his sickle considerable since the strict hiring practices of years past ..no more height or weight stipulations ,  no more hour-glass silhouette requirements …all he checks now is their pulse …

  If you order a cold brew and ribs and later an unfamiliar waitress brings a quart of Vodka and a BLT , that goes to Herky’s table …just be patient , by process of elimination your request will eventually come ..

Occupy Texas …

 While our fellow Americans on the eastern sea-board prepare for Tropical Storm Sandy , we Texans bask under clear skies and static wind conditions , 67 degrees at mid afternoon ..a perfect Sunday afternoon except for Tony Romo’s inaccurate arm and missed patterns by inexplicably confused running backs…..fumbles and interceptions rule the day in Jerry’s World ..

  In light of our insatiable addiction to hunting Indian artifacts and the Chamber of Commerce weather across the Red River Valley , Carolyn and I totally wasted two wonderful hours looking at rocks and gunions where Native Texans once roamed ….It was great exercise for the physical body and the imaginary images of the mind …

  Indians behind every bush , rattle snakes beneath every rock , but we only found what the bird left on the pump handle ….. all was not in vain however, we stopped back by Nocona’s DQ for a well deserved blizzard , just like the Plains Indians did after a hard day of scalping whitey’s ….
