Fresh Fruit ….

  Here’s the deal…. Barack Obama proclaimed publicly in a recent interview that he identifies himself as Christian… He reportedly had a Christian experience while serving with pastors and fellow community organizers in Chicago.. He seeks guidance from Christ in matters of particular importance ..

  Who are we to judge the innermost feelings in his heart ?… Forget all those popular accusation of him being his father’s own muslim son…or as Jeremiah Wrights radical long-term church member…

  Let us instead seek wisdom for this important question from spiritual documentation…

  In Christ’s Sermon on the Mount , He addressed the issue of identifying false prophets ..( those who talk the talk publicly , but fail miserably to walk the walk in actions ) 

     Matthew 7:15 says… Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing , but inwardly they are raving wolves..  16…Ye shall know them by their fruits…Do men gather grapes from thorns , or figs from thistles…17….Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit…18…A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit…

   My advise concerning the authenticity of his claim to Christianity….. Look not to his    recorded claims or religious history of his family… but instead consider the fruits of his administration….

     Obama ‘s proclamation abolished the Presidential tradition of celebrating a National Day Of     Prayer in the White House…

    Obama instigated a proclamation to strike down “don’t ask don’t tell”…

    Obama states current law concerning same-sex marriage is unconstitutional …

     Obama adamantly supports government funding of Planned Parenthood ( abortion leader )

    Obama stated in past speeches that Christians , Muslims , and Buddhists , all focus on the same God …

    Obama once said that the Islamic call to prayer is one of the world’s most beautiful sounds at sunset …

    Obama and his family have actually attended Church twice since being elected in 08 .

   You can appropriately decide for yourself whether his fruit should be considered good or evil in accordance with Christ’s Sermon on the Mount …I’m just saying ,  not all that quacks loudly is actually a duck… exercise spiritual scepticism when accessing his political fruit..

Dry docked nostalgia …

  After moocher’s breakfast , all in attendance ventured down to the custom-made insulated garage to kick the tires on Ed’s newly purchased 76 Caddy Eldorado convertible.. The motorized pride of the Muskrat Shrine Convee unit. ( secret caravan of over-extended masons)

  Only thing missing on this all original Caddy is the turret and tail-gunner’s nest…It’s been disarmed for domestic use in Masonic parades…otherwise it’s still a land-locked battle ship from 1976.. USS Montague.

  This gas-guzzling relic from forty years past gets nine miles per gallon on a down-hill slope …engulfs 2.5 parking spots at the liquor store , and weighs in excess of two metric tons…But… It’s a licensed and bonded Cadillac , long as a prostitutes dream and it belongs to Ed Notee…at least for ninety days or til Hoot gets antsie…whichever !

  Watch for it on 82 west come Tuesday afternoon… as a boat load of Shriners take it on its maiden voyage through the port city of Belcherville on their way to the I.H.O.P. Shriners pancake feed in Wichita Falls.. Like a scene straight out of the movies…. ” Smokey and the Bandit ” with Bufford T Pusser and his deputies… Sheriff Ed , Stamp-licker , Chase-a-beverage , and Chaplin Scott … vigilantes one and all …

    The South Side Baptist Youth Group of Bowie is hosting a chili cook-off /chili supper at Bowie Junior High tomorrow night… That’s Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. for $5.00 ….all proceeds go to finance extracurricular activities for South Side Baptist Youth members and guests…

    Immediately following the informal banquet of chili and crackers , the undisputed convection champions of South Side Baptist Bake Sales , will offer a plethora of creme pies and cakes for public auction … The bidding often gets serious but so do the culinary rewards …

  Come for a delightful evening of chili tasting and social entertainment presented by various cooking-teams… help the South Side Youth raise funds for spiritual adventures .. …You can have your cake and eat it too !

Box cranium …

 Previous affectionate references to our East German friend as ” the square-head ” has resulted in banishment from discretionary soft-ware scanners in this area…( hate speech )….. Any future references to him or his ethnic origins will be addressed more politely as  ” the Kraut ” .  my apologies extended to Herkie and his incestual family…and the politically correct culture police headquartered in Wichita Falls…

  He has not only abandoned his trans-cultural friends on the blog , but seemingly abandoned his Republican mode of extended transportation as well… His motor-home has been blocking easy access at Ed’s ranch for more than two weeks ….Parked broadside across the north entrance , as though previously inhabited by an inebriated  ( German…)

    Ed reports storage cost have now exceeded the Winnebago’s estimated value… It’s time to move the box-car or simply bring the title to moocher’s breakfast …

 This is Decatur Swap-Meet week-end… a time to rid the barn and all adjoining lean-too sheds of unwanted relics from discarded cars of the thirties and forties… Whiner-Minor will be doing his annual impersonation of Earl … loading every transportation cadaver he can haul for the pilgrimage to the Fair-Grounds in Decatur…

  He’ll be easy to spot headed south on 287… looking like Sanford & Son on his way to wrecking-yard utopia … He’ll barter and haggle with fellow-junkers from parts unknown , for parts unknown , for the better part of three days… Trading his valuable relics for those less familiar … returning to Montague with twice what departed..

   He’ll trade his coveted International glove-box door for two Studebaker headlight rims and a Buick dimmer-switch… or Whippet door-handles for a Corvette back-up light lens… it’s obviously a labor of love .. always searching for motorized memorabilia in the bushes around Montague for transport to Chickasha or Decatur… He’s got junk-iron in his blood and his wife is a passive saint .. This is the long-awaited week-end he lives for…

    Have fun Minor , but save at least a couple of C-notes for financial investment in the Range-Delivery 35 Sedan… I know you want it !

    A Muslim student failed his final exam at Texas Tech…. Abdul was studying pyrotechnics and cell phone detonation at the largest University on the cap rock when his detrimental plan for ” W ” suddenly blew up in his face…

   His sole purpose for living since age nine was Jihad ..but what he failed to realize is that the Turkey Texas Landowners Association has an undercover agent living discretely on a cotton farm just outside Lubbock.  Eddie Varettie spotted this guy when he got off the plane and headed straight to the 7-11… He’s been under constant surveillance since that fateful day… There was never any chance of his successful extermination of George W……….  Eddie’s a card-carrying Republican ..

My duty to my Savior…..

  Despite the fact that I have written numerous blogs that touched on this Biblical issue , my concern for each of my treasured readers compels me to reiterate this sometimes controversial subject matter…

  I sincerely believe we are now living in the day’s of Noah, as struggles of end-time events unfold across the globe..  The extreme spirit of unrest engulfs every nation including our own… Neighbors stand against neighbors on issues of moral conduct , partisan politics , economic entitlements , immigration , and most importantly religious or secular convictions..

  A world of false gods and opposing spirits align themselves against God’s chosen people .. Prophecy is currently being fulfilled against Israel and the Jewish race as neighboring nations unite with the common cause of Jihad.

  Earthquakes , floods , tsunamis , and forest flames dominate the evening news around the world. Natural disasters of Biblical proportions span the global landscape..

  No Bible prophecy stands between this moment and God’s chosen time for the rapture of His Church…Nothing prevents His immediate return except indefinable mercy and grace towards the non-believer.

  There’s no more important time of my sixty-three year existence than now , for you to decide your eternal destination … John 3:16 says.. For God so loved the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son , That whosoever believes in Him shall NOT perish but have everlasting life…

 It’s my prayer that each of you is found righteous through the blood of Christ , when He returns to gather his flock … The dead in Christ shall rise first , then we , the living in Christ’s Church shall meet Him in the sky…

  The Anti-Christ will rise to power and reign in world peace for three and a half years… then the next three and a half years will see tribulation and plagues unparalleled in human history as the seven seals are broken one by one….  The battle of Armageddon will soon follow as the world attempts to destroy Israel…

  Christ will return on a white horse to Mt.Zion Jerusalem , to save His chosen flock and establish His Kingdom on Earth where He will reign for a thousand years ….God is not mocked !

  If you would prefer being part of that righteous Kingdom to enduring the intense plagues of the seven seals , repent your sins to Christ  , confess Him as your Savior , be Baptised as a public profession of faith …. and live the remainder of your life for Him…

    Forsake not the gathering of Christian brothers and sisters , even more as you see the day approaching…. That simply means go to your Christian church of choice .. especially as the end time approaches…

  I don’t consider myself a worthy advocate for Christ , but I can attest to His undying Love and His unconditional forgiveness .. regardless of the depths or breadth or duration of our dreadful sins..

  He brought me back from the grip of selfish indulgence and self imposed darkness to a place in peaceful Light . He’ll willingly do the same for any wayward scoundrel like me who places their faith in Him…regardless of race , color , creed , or ethnic tibe….

  If any within the reaches of this humble writer has questions pertaining to their eternal salvation… just mention anonymously in the comment section , I see your e-mail address though it’s not divulged on the public blog site… I’m no Bible scholar by any stretch of the imagination , but I have instant access to a plethora of willing guys who are… I’ll get you a Biblical answer in a discrete private manner… Make no mistakes , I want no friend left behind !

  Let me help you towards God’s righteous plan for your life…It’s more than a matter of life and death , its eternal… choose life I pray….open the door to peace that surpasses all human understanding.. You’ll never regret that humble first-step …Christ will meet you there !

Tears and Free-Beers ….

  For eight long exhaustive years Tracy has faithfully fought the spending frenzy of Tommy O’Neal … struggling to balance the inflow with the rapid outflow … performing monumental feats of accounting and scheduling at warp speed… but her mission has finally been accomplished … She retires today… amid laughter and tears she departs for her next duty assignment as a bashful bride …

   Her grateful boss , in a futile attempt to repay her consistent loyalty , has summoned a limousine for transport to a fine restaurant lunch in Dallas…

   They are expected to return to the Prime-Cut by 4:oo this afternoon , where Tom will absorb the cost of free drinks for all who wish to honor her tenure …

  My heart-felt congratulations to Tracy for passing both her endurance test at Bra-Dee Oil , and her acquisition of a suitable mate beyond the county line… God bless your future endeavors ..

  While Tracy’s expertise will certainly be missed , Tom will by no means be left in a quandary… He has several capable ladies aspiring to fill the 4 inch corporate stilettos in the front office…

  and did I mention free beer at four….?

 Remember you heard it here first … or perhaps twenty-first … but the upheaval in the middle east is now being shadowed by headline news even more relevant to foreign affairs and global economy… Jennifer Anniston got a haircut !  That’s the big news of the day !

  Can you imagine the distraction on the front lines of protest in Libya … the unbridled grief that surely must consume the hearts of America’s fighting force in Afghanistan … the shock and awe engulfing bullet riddled shacks of impoverished nations… Jennifer cut her locks…. unbelievable !
