I’ve not studied the Constitution since High School …and am currently confused beyond belief….
Which amendment is it that gives Obama full authority over flushing toilets anyway ?
I firmly remember amendment #1 , and amendment #2 quite well…..neither of which mentions emptying the bladder or the bowels , as I recall.. I’ve got my bathroom signals all mixed up with the amendment designations…
Is Obama promoting #1 or #2 …….seems to me, he’s brimming full of # 2

Heard on the scanner yesterday that a man was on top of his roof near Forestburg , threatening to jump.. Numerous emergency crews and rescue personnel were summoned , including a ladder truck and various County mounty’s…..
The outcome is still unreported by my Forestburg reporter……accenting Ed’s concerns that Cardwell was the despondent, rather than the correspondent..

I’ve been multi-tasking all week…no time for political insights or colorful reflections on local personalities… ( Trump got his delegates) 1,237 so said Associated Press..(Ed returned from Bossier City without arrest…. or bail money )
Soup kitchen obligations consumed yesterday…then a pre-dawn chauffeurs trip to Nocona early today, followed immediately by a soup-kitchen shopping adventure at Wal-Mart in Bowie.. and back to Nocona for taxi pick-up of the bride…just in time for an impromptu lunch at Del Rio’s…just down the alphabet from Del Frisco’s..
The hostess seated us by Commissioner Bob and his bride ..and Doy Allen… we exchanged pleasantries …concluded by my skillfully placed subtle invite to dip ourselves in their new cement pond….explaining that Tommy O’Neal had banned me from visitation in his plastered gunion ..for a one-time infraction of Lava soap and inappropriate swimwear….Tom JUDGED me….
Bob said he’d have to check his calendar for available dates and get back to me….I’m bettin February..

PETA has offered a sizable monetary reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a particular Shriner who blasted this Louisiana pigeon on Saturday…suspect is believed to be a rotund white guy driving his wife’s Chevy pickup with Texas tags.
He’s considered armed and deranged….but only moderately dangerous…bad aim..impaired vision and partially deaf..as demonstrated by the prognosis of Pete..

3 and a quarter inches of rain…and scattered hail in Montague.. One pump works at the Ultimate Store , but I counted seven cars under the canopy including mine….and a few parked on the apron within eye-shot of shelter…Tom never had so much business !
Not bad for a 10% chance of rain on Monday morning…

We all know the familiar phrase from our Pledge of Allegiance… One nation , under God , indivisible…..with liberty and justice for all…
When as a nation have we been more divided since the Civil war ? When has God suffered such indifference ? When has liberty been trampled upon more than today ? When has justice been more determined by status or partisan affiliation ?…..Not in my life time.. not to my recollection….. not until 2008..
Frankly, I’m sick of it…sick enough to vote for Trump…that’s MY pledge..
