i’m back at the salt-mine this morning , producing potable water for the good citizens of bowie… they’re running water at an alarming rate….. filling dog-bowls and swamp coolers.. swimming pools and horse troughs…. the average person uses about a hundred gallons per day during the winter and fall , but in the summer that number can easily double or approach triple….. watering flowers and st. augustine…. crepe myrtle’s and ruby begonia’s…washing dust covered cars and sweat soaked tee-shirts…. bathing the twins.. !
it’s time for me to return to being a productive member of society…providing pressurized… chlorinated…. filtered….tested .. treated water… to flush whatever needs flushing today…. some-body’s got to do it … and once again , it’s my turn…. i’m thinking you need to conserve !
Does that mean that you have to push a button 2 or 3 times as much as in the winter? Do me a favor and hold the allgae bloom – throw some ice in the lake. The lake is turning so much right now that the sour cost is breaking me!
