carolyn was asking me how my blog was going last night.. how many people have read it you think??
i know of at least three, i replied… then she discovered an icon at the bottom of the page where the writer has to log in, it simply said blog stats..
she clicked on it and all this information poped up . she has kept baseball stats for years on the kids and grandkids, so naturally she was intrigued by the thought of stats being kept on the blog..
she scrolled down to a point that listed the number of hits on the blog, other than the hits recorded by the writer.. it listed one-hundred and sixty seven…best 1 day total, 48… it’s only been up for four days!!!
my eyes shot out on a stem, there’s surely been some mistake … then i remembered how a certain individual had toyed with my egg production in order to misrepresent the actual count in the hen-house..
could it be that this same person is now making multiple hits on my blog just to distort the statistics…. logging in and out and in again, while petting ol’storm and grinning like a skunk in a briar patch..
i know it seems far fetched, but this old man will go to any length to deal me some aggrivation… he proved that last month, driving twenty miles to deliver a dozen brown eggs… the numbers just don’t add up…… but i do have your number mr. welldigger man… keep that biting dog close at hand! you may need him…
